The ecchi manga "Booty Royale: Never Go Down Without a Fight!" (Hagure Idol Jigokuhen) by Rui Takatō is set to receive an anime adaptation. The announcement was made by WWWave Corporation, which will produce the series through its label Deregula. The series is scheduled to debut on television in January 2027, marking the author's return to the anime world following the success of their original work.
The story follows Misora Haebaru, an 18-year-old karate expert who moves to Tokyo to become a famous singer. However, she ends up in the adult entertainment industry and must survive a martial arts tournament against one hundred opponents to redeem herself. The manga, which launched in 2014, has already inspired a live-action film in 2020.
Production is led by Takashi Andō, known for "My Life as Inukai-san's Dog," at studio Raiose. The scripts are written by Eeyo Kurosaki, while the character designs are by Ryūji Iwata. The voice cast includes Hisako Tōjō, Nao Shiraki, Natsumi Murakami, and Hikaru Iida, who will voice the protagonists of this new ecchi adventure.
