SexLikeReal (SLR), known for its adult VR content, is taking a strategic step toward integrating software and hardware. The company has announced the launch of Melody, its first proprietary device, scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2026. This move marks the transition from a simple digital content publisher to an integrated ecosystem that combines virtual immersion with physical feedback.
The technological core of Melody is artificial intelligence: a machine learning algorithm analyzes the user's preferred rhythms and intensities in real time to adapt the device's performance. The stroker, which weighs less than one kilogram, offers a linear movement of 150 strokes per minute and is equipped with a color screen for telemetry. Furthermore, the open API ensures compatibility with third-party platforms and live camming services.
The experience is enhanced by the Haptics Connect app, which enables remote synchronization with partners at a distance, turning the device into a social tool. With an initial run of 1,000 units and an estimated price between $200 and $300, SLR aims to challenge competitors such as the Handy 2, betting on personalization and vertical integration between content and hardware.
