SexLikeReal (SLR), known for its adult VR content, is about to cross the boundary between software and hardware with the launch of the Melody, its first proprietary device. Scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2026, this stroker marks a strategic turning point: from being a simple digital content publisher, SLR becomes an integrated ecosystem that combines virtual immersion with physical feedback.
The technology at the heart of the Melody is artificial intelligence: a machine learning algorithm analyzes the user's preferred rhythms and intensities in real time to adapt the performance. The device, which weighs less than a kilogram and offers a linear stroke at 150 strokes per minute, includes a color screen for telemetry and an open API that enables compatibility with third-party platforms and live camming services.
The experience is enhanced by the Haptics Connect app, which allows remote synchronization with distant partners, turning the device into a social tool. With an initial run of 1,000 units and an estimated price between $200 and $300, SLR aims to challenge competitors like the Handy 2, betting on personalization and vertical integration between content and hardware.
