Aniplex of America has confirmed that the anime series "Even the Student Council Has Its Holes!" will be available on the OceanVeil streaming platform starting Saturday, October 3, 2026. This announcement coincides with the release of the English trailer and simultaneous broadcast with Japan, where the series debuts on Tokyo MX, BS11, Gunma TV, and Tochigi TV.
The unique aspect of the launch lies in the two available versions: an 'on air' version for television and an 'unrestricted' version for pay platforms such as OceanVeil and AnimeFesta. This distinction allows fans to choose their preferred level of explicitness, preserving the ecchi nature of the original work.
Based on Muchimaro's four-panel manga, published in Weekly Shonen Magazine, the series has sold over 2.7 million copies and won the Next Manga Award in 2023. The anime adaptation is produced by Aniplex and animated by Passione, with Naoyuki Tatsuwa serving as director. The story follows Mizunoe Ume, who joins the student council to avoid repeating the school year, only to find herself in a room full of eccentric and "a bit mischievous" characters.
