Netflix has officially announced that it will stream the anime series 'Dragon Ball Super: Beerus'. The streaming service will offer the work in the United States starting October 17, while in certain selected regions and countries, availability will begin as early as October 14.
This is an 'enhanced' edition of the original Dragon Ball Super saga. According to Akio Iyoku, the project includes new footage, revisions to existing scenes, a complete new rendering of the video material, newly recorded voice acting, and a reconstruction of the storyline. The goal is to more accurately express Akira Toriyama's original ideas, delivering superior visual quality, particularly in the battle sequences.
The series will replace One Piece in the 11:15 PM JST time slot on Fuji TV, beginning its broadcast on October 11. In Japan, the anime will also be available on Amazon Prime Video and U-NEXT, with a 30-minute delay relative to the television broadcast.
