For the first time, an adult-oriented dōjin manga is being directly adapted into a television series, bypassing any prior commercial release or OVA. The series, based on Puuzaki Puuna's work, has already won over audiences with the publication of two volumes in black and white and color. For international viewers, localization is handled by Irodori Comics, which has made the manga available in English. Production has recently unveiled new NSFW artwork, designed specifically for the premium streaming version, along with a promotional video previewing the opening theme, "Choux Cream," performed by Hitomi Suzune.
The release is scheduled for September 11, 2026, with an exclusive streaming premiere on AnimeFesta and OceanVeil. The series will subsequently air on Japanese television starting October 4 on BS11 and Tokyo MX. This direct path to TV format suggests a growing openness in the industry toward mature narratives and a potential expansion of the audience for this type of content.
