From that point on Makina moves into his apartment, determined to win him over with increasingly bold seduction attempts, while he, more interested in her mechanical design than her advances, offers a flustered resistance that fuels much of the show's comedy. A Studio Elias adaptation directed by Toshikatsu Tokoro, the series is based on Nakanosora's manga, published on Takeshobo's Web Comic Gamma Plus platform, bringing to television an ecchi concept rooted in the doujin material that originally inspired it. Hinata Sunohara, back on Earth after defeating the Demon King in another world, believes his adventure is over, but a month later his former party member, the dark elf Mariabelle, teleports into his room determined to move in with him. What follows is a cohabitation dominated by the heroine's obsessive love, swinging between genuine tenderness and a near-suffocating jealous possessiveness typical of the yandere archetype. Based on Yuichi Hiiragi's manga published in Square Enix's Monthly Gangan Joker, this LIDENFILMS production directed by Tomoe Makino turns an explicitly ecchi narrative device, time-rewinding tied to removing underwear, into the actual engine of the plot rather than mere decoration. That choice firmly plants the show in the genre, since its premise simply would not function without the running gimmick of near-strips, compromising situations and double-entendre jokes woven into every episode. Licensed by Crunchyroll from the announcement onward, the series drew media attention specifically for how openly its marketing leaned into the concept's fanservice hook. Technically the animation sits within the average range for seasonal TV productions, but Takane's character design, carefully rendered in both comedic and more suggestive scenes, helps sustain visual interest. The chemistry between the two leads develops at an enjoyable pace, mixing light gags with genuinely tender beats, keeping the concept from running dry on the gimmick alone.
