The romantic-comedy fantasy short "I'm Dating a Dark Summoner" has confirmed its release date: the anime will air for the first time in Japan on Tokyo MX on October 4 at 1:20 AM. The HIDIVE platform will handle the simulcast in North America, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand, while Sentai Filmworks manages the licensing.
The production team has released a new main promotional video, which includes the opening and ending themes. The opening is "Zettai Kansei Kisei Jijitsu" performed by Ringo Coisio, while the ending is "AKUMA No? Hime Goto" by Mao Komiya. Haru and Eury have also been added to the cast, voiced by Akane Nishimura and Maya Ayahane.
For fans of the ecchi genre, a dedicated NSFW key visual has been released. The series, based on Shaoh's manga, follows the dynamics of a group of adventurers with strong romantic and sensual undertones. The eighth volume of the manga will be released on October 9, one week after the TV debut.
