Good Smile Company and Frontwing Lab have officially announced the development of "Grisaia no Shin Kajitsu - Shuugou no Hyakka," the new chapter in the renowned visual novel saga. Designed to celebrate the series' 15th anniversary, the title is scheduled for release in 2027 and is set twenty years after the events of the previous installments.
The plot introduces six new girls who identify themselves as the protagonist Fumiki Yuuji's daughters; they travel from the future to the present to join the saga's established heroines. This new generation of characters will open up an unprecedented story that connects the various narrative arcs of the series.
The new ADV will be closely linked to the smartphone game "Grisaia Shuugou no Hyakka," which is already in development for the anniversary. The project features a screenplay by Ruisu Nagata of Frontwing and character designs by Akio Watanabe, promising a narrative experience that blends historical continuity with present-day innovations.
